Frequently asked questions

Get detailed answers about safari permits, prices, seasons, safety, payments, accommodation and private journey planning.

Planning

Reserve six to twelve months ahead for peak months, small camps, migration areas and limited gorilla or chimpanzee permits. Shorter lead times still work in quieter periods, although early planning provides a stronger choice of rooms, guides and internal flight schedules.
Limitless Adventures arranges private vehicles and guides as the standard approach, unless a specific flight, boat or permit activity operates on a shared basis. Private guiding gives you more control over departure times, wildlife focus, rest stops and the pace of each day.

Pricing

A displayed starting price gives a realistic per-person estimate based on shared room occupancy and a stated journey style. Your final price depends on travel dates, group size, room type, park fees, permits, selected accommodation and the internal flights included in the route.

Payments

Your confirmed booking document states the deposit, final balance date, currency and accepted payment method. Limited permits, small camps and internal flights often require early non-refundable commitments, so we explain the applicable cancellation conditions before you approve payment.

Travel

We plan routes around current operating conditions and work with established guides, camps and transport providers. Your team receives practical pre-departure guidance, local contact details and journey support, while guides adjust road movements and daily activities when local conditions require a change.

Health

Purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering emergency medical care, evacuation, cancellation, interruption, delayed baggage and every planned activity. Review policy limits for trekking, light-aircraft travel and pre-existing conditions, then carry both digital and printed policy details during the journey.
Health requirements depend on your nationality, travel history and countries visited, so speak with a qualified travel-health professional well before departure. Ask about routine vaccinations, yellow fever documentation, malaria prevention and personal medication, then carry prescriptions in their original packaging.

Accommodation

We assess location, guiding, access, room design, food, service, privacy and value rather than selecting accommodation by category alone. Your proposal explains why each stay suits the route and offers alternatives when a different comfort level or budget would serve you better.

Packing

Use a soft-sided bag suitable for light-aircraft limits, then pack neutral layers, sun protection, closed shoes, binoculars and a light rain layer. We provide a route-specific packing list covering exact baggage limits, trekking equipment, camera needs and seasonal temperatures before departure.
